However, stainless steel only offers 60% of the yield strength as mild steel- so Meridian has developed the ultimate solution. The stainless steel roof, wall and hopper cone offer a superior long lasting storage solution, while the mild steel legs and skid offers a strong and reliable structure for the bin. Meridian’s high performance powder coating offers additional corrosion protection and better heat deflection than standard stainless finish.
