Meridian Multi-Purpose Fertilizer Bins

Meridian sells through a network of Authorized dealers. If no dealer is selected, we will reach out with more information

Fertilizer is one of the harshest materials you’ll store on the farm. Moisture, dust, and corrosive products can quickly take their toll on equipment that’s designed primarily for grain. Meridian Multi-Purpose Fertilizer Bins are purpose-built to stand up to those conditions while giving producers the flexibility to store other commodities throughout the year.

From the inside out, every component is designed with fertilizer storage in mind. An epoxy-coated interior helps protect the steel where fertilizer is in direct contact with the bin, while Meridian’s premium exterior finish provides long-lasting protection against the demanding conditions around fertilizer handling. Smoothwall construction, stainless steel hardware, and a 40 to 45-degree hopper work together to promote reliable product flow, simplify cleanout, and make it easy to transition between fertilizer, grain, seed, and feed as seasonal storage needs change. It’s a storage system built for fertilizer first—without limiting what it can do the rest of the year.

FAQ

Granular fertilizer is significantly more corrosive than grain and places different demands on a storage system. Bins designed specifically for fertilizer incorporate materials, coatings, and construction features intended to withstand those conditions while supporting long-term durability.

The inside of the bin is where fertilizer spends months at a time. An epoxy-coated interior provides an added layer of protection where product is in constant contact with the steel, helping extend the life of the bin.

The exterior of a fertilizer bin is exposed to weather, fertilizer dust, and everyday wear. Meridian's premium finish is designed to provide long-lasting protection against corrosion, helping maintain the appearance and durability of the bin for years to come.

Yes. Many producers store fertilizer ahead of the application season, then clean the bin and use it for grain, seed, or feed later in the year. The SmoothWall design makes the transition between commodities quicker and easier than traditional corrugated storage.

Having fertilizer on-site gives producers more control over inventory, purchasing, and application timing. It can reduce reliance on in-season deliveries and help ensure product is available when field conditions are right.
