Our Swing Augers are designed for farms that demand capacity during harvest. Available in 10″, 12″, 13″, and 14″ models, they offer capacities ranging from 5,450 to 15,000 bushels per hour to match a wide range of storage systems and farm sizes. Features such as low-profile swing hoppers, available hopper movers, heavy-duty truss systems, and Meridian’s extendable swing options are designed to make positioning easier and keep grain moving from truck to bin. Horsepower requirements vary by auger diameter and length. Larger augers require more horsepower but provide the capacity needed to support higher-volume harvest operations. Meridian's largest swing augers are designed for operations moving substantial volumes of grain into storage.

A swing hopper makes it easier to position the auger under grain trucks and trailers while providing flexibility around the unloading area. This can reduce setup time and simplify truck unloading during harvest.

An extendable swing hopper can be retracted and extended as needed, making it easier to access different trailer compartments and helping reduce the amount of truck repositioning required during unloading. Once operators become accustomed to the added convenience, it's often difficult to go back to a standard swing hopper.

A hopper mover allows the swing hopper to be repositioned remotely, making it easier for a single operator to align the hopper and manage grain flow during unloading.
